This mission has taken on special importance during the covid pandemic. A large group of parish volunteers unload, sort and distribute boxes of food for 350-400 families each Friday. The ministry has become very organized over the past several months. Throughout the day while most members of the team are working in the Gavan Center, some are praying in the Church before the Blessed Sacrament. Donations of non-perishable foods are needed, including: rice, beans, cereal, peanut butter, canned tuna or chicken, pasta, and sauce.
